Responsibilities
Perform month-end close activities accurately and within established timelines
Proactively prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly analyses to support revenue and general accounting functions
Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger
Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
Investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Support internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance
Prepare documentation and assist auditors in addressing inquiries or concerns
Conduct financial analysis to support management decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
3+ years of experience in accounting, audit or finance, including working at a public company or in public accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements
Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
Preferred
CPA preferred but not required
