Technical Account Manager, Personal Care - NE
Ravago Chemicals North America (RCNA) is seeking a Technical Account Manager for the Northeast personal care market. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the full sales cycle while providing technical support and collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
Grow revenue by developing existing accounts and generating new business
Conduct market research to identify new markets, applications, and customer needs
Manage the complete project and sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Promote products and services while anticipating customer objectives
Develop multi-level selling relationships across procurement, R&D, marketing, quality, and customer service
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Attend conferences, trade shows, meetings, and industry events
Provide technical support and communicate product features and benefits to R&D teams
Maintain accurate and timely records of all customer interactions, sales activities, project updates, and sales forecasts in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and visibility across the organization
Use CRM tools to track pipeline development, monitor account health, manage follow-ups, and support territory planning
Maintain records of sales activities, revenue, and customer interactions
Support forecasting, budgeting, and territory planning in alignment with company goals
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and customer satisfaction
Follow cGMP and GFSI guidelines and uphold company quality and safety standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; a technical or scientific degree is strongly preferred
Minimum one year of customer-facing experience in personal care (sales, technical service, etc.)
Ability to communicate technical concepts to R&D
Strong business development, organizational, and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and navigate ambiguity
