Responsibilities

Conduct UX discovery that includes user research, interviews, and usability testing to identify user needs and pain points

Create personas, journey maps, and user stories to inform design decisions

Translate requirements into wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design with business goals and technical feasibility

Facilitate design workshops and reviews to gather feedback and drive consensus

Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and style guidelines for consistent user experiences

Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and industry regulations

Use data, analytics, and A/B testing to evaluate and improve design effectiveness

Document design specifications and partner with developers to support implementation

Identify and solve usability challenges through iterative testing and design refinement
