Energy 1 is dedicated to providing high-end custom residential and commercial HVAC systems. The HVAC Fabricator/Shop Support position is responsible for building ductwork and ensuring the efficient functioning of the shop, while also collaborating with the HVAC and construction team.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC plasma cutter to cut sheet metal for ductwork fabrication

Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions using shear, brake, Pittsburgh, and other ductwork fabrication tools

Fasten joints and seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, caulk, bolts, and metal driver clips, ensuring work is done carefully and bonds will last

Maintains clean and orderly workspace

Read plans, communicate with the install team

Apply standard/best practices of the HVAC trade

Receive, inventory, and distribute shipments

Safely load, transport, and deliver tools and material from shop/vendors to jobsites in Bozeman and Big Sky

Assist with prefab and small mechanical projects

Performs other related duties as assigned

HS Diploma or equivalent

Must hold a valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR
