Responsibilities
Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience
Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience
Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
Thorough understanding of server certificate implementation / TLS and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues
Strong debugging and analytical skills
Strong network troubleshooting skills using various tools (Ping, nslookup, traceroute, curl)
Good communication skills with ability to coordinate work between system admins, network engineers, end users and others to deliver solutions together
Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative technology solutions
Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight and supervision
Working knowledge of regular expressions
Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef and/or AutoSys
Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment (including basic understanding of how firewall rules work)
Experience with Glassbox especially, but other monitoring tools such as Tealeaf, Splunk, SiteScope, etc
