Human Resource Information System Manager
Leeds Professional Resources is seeking a Workday HRIS System Manager responsible for leading the configuration, optimization, and ongoing administration of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. The role involves managing Workday modules, improving HR business processes, and overseeing integrations with internal and third-party systems.
Responsibilities
Lead the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, and Recruiting
Act as a liaison between IT and internal teams, including HR and Finance
Manage Workday releases, system updates, testing cycles, and deployment of new functionality
Evaluate and improve HR business processes to ensure alignment with Workday capabilities
Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
Oversee integrations between Workday and internal or third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance)
Ensure system data integrity, security, and compliance across all HRIS functions
Act as the Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal stakeholders
Develop, implement, and adjust system configurations based on evolving business needs
Design and build dashboards, reports, and automations within Workday to provide strategic insights
Enhance employee and manager self-service functionality
Maintain internal data structures and develop custom reports to meet leadership and business requirements
Regularly audit the system to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Configure business processes to streamline workflows and support operational efficiency
Test new system configurations and manage overall platform upkeep, including Workday releases
Participate in the implementation and post-implementation support of new Workday modules
Lead or support Workday-related projects, including enhancements, process improvements, and new deployments
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
Serve as the integrations lead for third-party platforms supporting benefits, recruiting, and HR compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Five or more years of Workday experience
Demonstrated success supporting HRIS implementations and system integrations
Hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes
Two to three years of project management experience
Functional experience across HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and Talent & Performance
Preferred
Experience deploying multiple Workday HCM environments preferred
Current or previous Workday HCM certifications (Recruiting, Learning, Performance Management preferred)
