Advertising Account Executive
Murray Media Group is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Advertising Account Executive to manage and grow a local territory through face-to-face sales. The role involves building relationships with local business owners, conducting client meetings, and recommending marketing solutions across various platforms.

Responsibilities
Manage and grow a territory-based book of business
Build relationships with local business owners and key decision makers
Prospect consistently through warm and cold outreach (in-person, phone, email)
Conduct face-to-face client meetings and deliver persuasive presentations
Recommend marketing solutions based on business goals and budget across:Lifestyle Magazines, Direct Mail, Savings Publications (Premier), and Digital Services (website development, SEO, SEM/PPC, mobile & social)
Maintain pipeline, activity, follow-up, and forecasting in a web-based CRM
Coordinate with design/editorial/production teams to ensure accurate and on-time campaign delivery
Represent Murray Media in the community through networking and local involvement
Perform related duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven success in a goal-driven sales role
Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills
Comfortable with face-to-face prospecting and field-based selling
Organized, deadline-driven, and strong follow-up habits
CRM experience (Magazine Manager, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
Preferred
B2B sales experience preferred; advertising/media experience a plus, not required
Working knowledge of Google Workspace and mobile tools (Excel/Sheets a plus)
