Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies, including leading competitive bidding processes (RFx), negotiating favorable terms and conditions, and managing contract lifecycle
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives, process improvements, and best practices
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, from individual contributors to senior leadership, to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies with overall organizational goals
Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation and execution to renewal and termination
Analyze market trends and procurement data to inform strategic decision-making and support annual cost reduction goals
Qualification
Required
Candidate must have at least minimum 8 years of direct experience in supplier management and strategic procurement
Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, engineering, business, or related field (Engineering strongly preferred)
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
Strategic thinking, effective problem solving skills, strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills with proven ability to work with people from various levels, functions, key stakeholders, and supplier's management
High proficiency in MS Office / Google Documents; specifically, advance MS Excel / Google Sheets skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Preferred
Technical knowledge in mechanical engineering is an advantage
Prior project management experience will be an added advantage
A good team player, a person with integrity, mature and self-motivated
