Senior Process Engineer- (Finishing/Coating)

They are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide design guidance based on manufacturing process capabilities and to coordinate process technology development within their operations organization.

Responsibilities
Has responsibility and accountability for the Hours per Unit, OEE and and First Pass Yield of Finish Processes
Knowledge of Wet Enameling Processes
Understanding of Powder Porcelain Enameling Processes
Background in Powder Painting Processes
Understanding of Laser Cutting Processes
Experience in Parts Washing Processes
Background in Furnaces and their Operations and Furnace Profiles
Understanding of Process Flow
Practical knowledge of Industrial Engineering Principles to set up jobs and labor routers
Understanding of Place for Every Part (PFEP)
Lead your area to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets
Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Overall Process Yield (OPY)
Participate in a problem-solving activities and the execution of activities defined in that process preferred understanding of WCM methodology
Monitor and measure key indicators of department performance
Communicate effectively with associates, peers and division leadership Demonstrate Whirlpool Values and a Spirit of Winning
Excellent manufacturing process technology acumen, especially within platform family
Knowledge in FMEA, PFMEA and Opex tools
Be proficient with key computer programs such as Google, SAP, KRONOS, CAD and other Whirlpool software
Plan, organize and prioritize tasks as well as set expectations for the Support Techs and Process Technicians that are reporting to you
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years experience in managing employees in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Wet Enameling Processes
Understanding of Powder Porcelain Enameling Processes
Background in Powder Painting Processes
Understanding of Laser Cutting Processes
Experience in Parts Washing Processes
Background in Furnaces and their Operations and Furnace Profiles
Understanding of Process Flow
Practical knowledge of Industrial Engineering Principles to set up jobs and labor routers

Finish Department experience
Highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills and leadership behaviors
Strong knowledge of manufacturing Finishing operations desired and ability to learn company philosophy, division policies and procedures
Good communication skills, verbal and written are essential
Ability to read, write, make oral presentations and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
