Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Monitor and manage communications for site access and dispatch personnel as needed throughout the location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating appropriate actions and notifications
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing communications, incidents, and dispatch activity
Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with security-related personnel and monitoring activity reports
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity by maintaining awareness of all monitored areas
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or issues as required
Qualification
Required
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree
Possess an armed guard card or license
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
