Responsibilities
Responsible for reporting and analysis related to co-manufacture invoicing
Analyze and resolve deductions taken by customers with emphasis on efficiency and accuracy. Efforts for prompt turnaround include collaboration with brokers, and sales managers
Follow up on deduction trending and help the organization understand drivers of deductions
Provide suggestions to improve processes and gain efficiency throughout the Company
Demonstrate the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer
Monitor customer payments for specified accounts, make dunning calls, as necessary, and look for ways to improve customer/broker relations, Days Sales Outstanding, and improve working capital and cash flow according to company goals
Provide backup and coverage for Accounts Receivable associates, as required, with vacation and sick leave
Work on special projects or assignments, as requested, by Accounting Management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel and a working knowledge of database functions
Self-motivated
Ability to work independently as needed
Strong communication skills
Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles
Performs all duties within the established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations
Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality
Perform all other duties as assigned
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Must have ability to work rotating or non-traditional shifts as needed, including outside normal business hours as required by business needs
Must have ability to travel to clients, customers, or other work sites by a variety of transportation methods
Must be able to work in the environment for the position, which may range from extreme heat to extreme cold or from wet/humid to dry/arid
The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required)
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours
The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use
Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment
Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required
Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus
Ability to lift 20 pounds and/or push/pull 20 pounds on a regular or occasional basis
