Responsibilities
Facilitate in-person orientation sessions, serving as a high-energy representative of Waymo’s culture and mission
Support and facilitate additional training requests as appropriate, such as team connection activities
Partner with the Culture and People Development team to support the invention, design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning programs with minimal supervision
Perform independent research into learning & development best practices to develop materials for cutting-edge educational programs
Manage the full lifecycle of learning events, including creating communications, managing sign-ups, and securing speakers and facilitators
Coordinate complex logistics for in-person and online events, including venue security, calendar invites, and breakout room management
Manage vendor relationships and handle operational tasks such as raising Statements of Work (SOWs), Purchase Orders (POs), and tracking invoices
Order and expense program materials and swag while maintaining up-to-date internal sites and resource links
Utilize the Learning Management System for course creation, sign-up links, and program measurement
Track and maintain up-to-date participant data and feedback across multiple programs to communicate efficacy to leadership
Serve as the initial point of contact for the 'Menu of Offerings,' triaging requests and tracking outcomes to ensure business needs are met
Qualification
Required
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sub-working groups and logistical details independently
Proven ability to command a room and deliver engaging content, specifically for onboarding and orientation environments
Ability to recognize and resolve issues in real-time, adjusting to unexpected challenges with poise
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with Facilities, IT, and stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency with Google Workspace (gMeet, gSlides) and experience managing data within an LMS
