Responsibilities
Coaching and developing Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at an exceptional level of quality
Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and solutions to common obstacles
Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that drives higher student engagement and performance
Personally coaching a small student cohort to demonstrate expert motivational and instructional techniques
Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort experiences genuine enthusiasm for school, progresses at 2× the typical rate, and achieves mastery of essential life skills. Zero exceptions
Qualification
Required
Currently located in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at an Alpha Campus (Bathesda, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA)
Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field
Proven track record of creating and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training systems
Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities, with demonstrated success building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams
Direct experience supporting youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data and metrics to inform strategy and drive ongoing improvement
Legal authorization to work in the United States
