Responsibilities
Design and develop workflows using Activiti BPM
Build and maintain backend components in Java / Spring Boot
Integrate workflows with external systems and databases
Troubleshoot and support workflows in test and production environments
Collaborate with business and technical teams in an Agile setup
Develop workflows using Activiti BPM (6.x / 7.x / Alfresco Activiti)
Create BPMN 2.0 components such as:
Process definitions, user tasks, service tasks
Gateways, timers, events, subprocesses
Write custom Java code (delegates, listeners, handlers)
Integrate workflows using REST / SOAP APIs
Work with relational databases ( MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL )
Perform testing, debugging, and production support
Participate in Agile ceremonies and documentation
Qualification
Required
Hands-on Activiti BPM development
Strong experience with BPMN 2.0
Java, Spring, Spring Boot
Workflow integration using REST / SOAP
Relational database experience
Ability to debug and fix workflow execution issues
Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred
Experience with Camunda, Flowable, or other BPM tools
UI form development (Angular / React)
Messaging tools: JMS, Kafka
Cloud exposure (AWS preferred)
Docker / Kubernetes
Domain experience in Banking, Insurance, Telecom
