Responsibilities
Design and build electro-mechanical test systems and fixtures
Develop automated test sequences and data acquisition using LabVIEW
Create tools and scripts to reduce manual testing
Improve or develop PLC-based and DAQ systems (e.g., Arduino platforms)
Build benchmark tests to speed troubleshooting and reduce downtime
Review Product Qualification Plans (PQPs) and suggest test improvements
Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to create test plans
Build DAQ systems for sensors, motion, and electro-mechanical devices
Analyze test data, reliability results, and failures
Automate data reporting for engineering teams
Increase testing throughput through automation and parallel testing
Reduce lab downtime with preventative maintenance and monitoring
Support lab computers, networks, and test equipment
Design and assemble test fixtures and prototypes
Perform wiring, assembly, and instrumentation setup
Support commissioning and validation of new test hardware
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Automated test system and fixture development
Verification and validation testing
Strong LabVIEW programming experience
Experience with electro-mechanical or automated systems
Cross-functional engineering collaboration
LabVIEW, Python, SQL, or similar scripting tools
DAQ systems, sensors, PLCs, and motion control
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering or related field
