Business Systems Analyst (SQL & Collibra)- W2

Call Quest Solution is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong SQL and Collibra experience to support enterprise data governance and platform enablement initiatives within a large financial services organization. The role focuses on analyzing detailed datasets, driving governance processes, and supporting onboarding to enterprise data and event-driven platforms.

Responsibilities

Analyze and validate data using SQL to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency
Support and maintain data governance processes using Collibra
Review and document metadata, lineage, classification, and stewardship information
Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, security, architecture, product)
Assist with onboarding teams to data and messaging platforms
Support architecture and integration reviews for data quality and compliance risks
Create and maintain documentation, workflows, and governance playbooks
Facilitate working sessions and help drive remediation efforts
Track progress, risks, and deliverables using Jira/Azure DevOps and documentation tools

Required

Strong SQL for data analysis, validation, and profiling
Hands-on experience with Collibra (data catalog, metadata, governance workflows)
Strong Excel skills with ability to analyze detailed data files
Ability to dive deep into data and also understand end-to-end processes
Strong communication skills
Project management fundamentals
Ability to drive process and follow through
3–5+ years in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Data Governance roles
Strong SQL and hands-on data validation experience
Experience working with enterprise data platforms and governance tools (Collibra preferred)
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Ability to work with detailed requirements and large datasets
Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills

Preferred

Financial Services or FinTech domain experience
Experience handling or understanding PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
Exposure to data governance, data quality, or compliance initiatives
