Responsibilities
Serve as a key point of communication between the Contributions and Recovery division, partner agencies, and the public
Explain legal requirements and procedural steps in accessible language to diverse audiences
Review and process incoming contested case files for the Contributions and Recovery division
Ensure case files are complete, accurately prepared, and contain necessary documentation
Record case files in the computerized case management system
Provide overall monitoring and technical guidance
Qualification
Required
Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Commitment to valuing diversity and promoting inclusion
Experience navigating Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to remain professional, calm and adapt communication style with diverse customer needs or customers that are frustrated, upset or critical
Commitment to customer care and satisfaction
Experience electronically entering data, retrieving information, generating data/data reports and using a document management system
