The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payables entries, scheduling check runs, and assisting the Accounts Payable Supervisor with closing activities.

Responsibilities
Process all payables entries ensuring accuracy and proper account coding
Schedule and perform check runs and/or ACH payments consistent with vendor requirements
Process check requests on a daily basis
Answer AP group emails in a timely manner
Assist Accounts Payable Supervisor with month-end and year-end closing activities as needed
Prepare required year-end schedules and reports as needed
Coordinate with the outside audit team and provide assistance as needed
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of accounts payable experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Education: Associates degree required
Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency in MS Office with a strong command of MS EXCEL functions
Proficiency in and/or peripheral knowledge of Accounts Payable, MIS processes and general accounting principles
Excellent time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize various tasks
Strong interpersonal communication skills with both internal and external clients
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Research skills with the ability to follow through to resolve problem situations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Knowledge of Deltek Vision software desired, not required
Knowledge of Chrome River (Expense, Invoice, and PO) software desired, not required
Experience with Emburse/Chrome River, Deltek Vision is a plus
