Lead Product Manager
Carson Consulting is seeking an energetic and visionary Lead Product Manager to drive the development and execution of innovative products that meet strategic goals. Responsibilities
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and market trends
Lead agile product development teams utilizing frameworks such as SAFe and TFS to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, develop user stories, and create wireframes using tools like Balsamiq and UML diagrams
Oversee the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases
Manage product backlogs using project management software like Jira and VersionOne; prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility
Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration with databases, APIs, SaaS platforms, and IoT devices
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), analyze analytics data using Looker or similar tools, and refine products based on feedback
Facilitate communication across technical teams by creating detailed documentation in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying Agile principles, fostering leadership within teams, and promoting best practices in software development
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Lead Product Manager in a technology-driven environment with a focus on SaaS or mobile applications
Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, APIs, SQL databases, HTML, Java, and related technologies essential for product development
Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies such as SAFe; familiarity with Waterfall project management approaches is a plus
Experience working with tools like Jira, TFS, VersionOne, Git for version control, and Balsamiq for wireframing; ability to manage complex projects effectively
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to gather requirements accurately and translate them into actionable tasks for development teams
Strong leadership qualities complemented by exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge of IT governance standards, SDLC processes, and IT infrastructure considerations necessary for enterprise product management
Ability to analyze data using Looker or similar analytics platforms to inform product decisions and optimize user experience
