Employer Partnership Specialist - Temporary/P

Communities Foundation of Texas is dedicated to increasing academic achievement and educational equity, and they are seeking an Employer Partnership Specialist. In this role, you will recruit businesses and organizations in the Dallas–Fort Worth region to create and deliver internship opportunities for high school students, ensuring effective partnerships that support career pathways.

Responsibilities

Identify and engage employers across the Dallas–Fort Worth region
Promote the benefits of hosting high school interns and build sustainable partnerships
Employer prospect management
Serve as the primary liaison for employers, providing guidance on compliance, student readiness, and best practices
Maintain strong communication to ensure positive experiences for both employers and students
Develop targeted outreach strategies for Dallas–Fort Worth employers, including presentations, networking events, and digital campaigns
Represent the program at local chambers of commerce, workforce boards, and industry association meetings
Document employer outreach and engagement
Document employer commitments and internship placements in program databases
Provide regular progress updates and contribute to program evaluation efforts

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Education, Workforce Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in recruiting or marketing
Communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and meet recruitment targets within tight timelines
Presentation and public speaking skills for employer outreach events needed
Effectively model and demonstrate CFT's core competencies which include Collaboration, Impact and Problem Solving, Integrity and Accountability, Learning, and Internal and External Service

Preferred

Experience engaging employers in the Dallas–Fort Worth region strongly preferred
Experience working with workforce development boards, chambers of commerce, or industry associations preferred
Ability to develop marketing materials and social media content for employer recruitment preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Knowledge of labor market trends in the Dallas–Fort Worth region is preferred
Familiarity with internship programs, career pathways, or education initiatives is a plus
Proficiency in CRM tools (e. g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking employer engagement is nice to have
