Responsibilities
Administer, optimize, and support Slack for large enterprise environments
Design and implement governance frameworks for Slack workspace management and policy enforcement
Develop and deploy Slack automation using APIs, bots, and AI-driven workflows
Build reusable and scalable integration solutions for Slack with enterprise and third-party systems
Collaborate with IT, security, engineering, and business stakeholders for secure and scalable Slack implementations
Lead cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to deployment
Troubleshoot operational, API, bot, and workflow-related issues
Maintain architecture documentation for governance, automation, integration, and compliance
Stay updated on Slack platform enhancements, AI collaboration trends, and best practices
Ensure secure configuration, policy compliance, and operational reliability across Slack ecosystems
Qualification
Required
5+ years in enterprise Slack administration and collaboration engineering
5+ years of enterprise Slack administration, governance, and security
Experience managing Slack workspaces, channels, user access, and enterprise policy enforcement
API development and integrations using Python, JavaScript, or equivalent scripting languages
Experience building Slack bots, automation workflows, and API-driven inner integrations
Experience implementing AI-driven or agent-based automation within Slack
Understanding of enterprise security and compliance requirements for collaboration platforms
Experience integrating Slack with third-party tools and internal business platforms
Experience delivering large-scale IT or collaboration ecosystem enhancements
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
Experience working in Agile delivery models
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Preferred
Experience working in regulated or BFSI environments
Experience with enterprise security compliance for collaboration platforms
Strong scripting and API integration experience
Experience implementing AI-driven automation within Slack
Awareness of enterprise security and compliance requirements for collaboration tools
Strong scripting skills for automation and workflow optimization
Experience integrating collaboration platforms with enterprise IT ecosystems
Agile delivery exposure or certifications
