The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing client IT environments, including Windows Server, Office 365, Cloud, Active Directory, and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite support in Maine. This job requires frequent travel to client locations. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
System and Network Administration (AD, Group Policy, DNS, Etc)
Perform troubleshooting and analyses of servers, workstations and associated systems
Handle DNS administration, implement and configure TCP/IP environments, and troubleshoot network problems
Undertake routine preventative measures
Implement, maintain, and monitor firewalls , VPNs , and network security appliances to safeguard client environments
Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam, network utilities, and printing and security
Work collaboratively with other system administrators, network engineers, helpdesk technicians, and project teams to deliver efficient IT solutions

Required

Excellent communication skills and customer services skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs as needed for equipment setup
Strong skills in Cisco and HP switching and routing, VLAN configuration, firewall configuration
Experience with administration and support of Office 365, Azure, VMware & Microsoft Hyper-V, Antivirus software, Backups, remote management tools and desktop operating systems
Education: Associate's degree in Information Technology or MSP experience. Equivalent certifications may be considered
Windows Server administration and Active Directory management
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record

Preferred

Candidates with Cisco certifications or equivalent experience preferred
MSP experience is preferred
