This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of torque tool equipment and processes in automotive manufacturing, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Leading the development and revision of automotive manufacturing torque tool equipment and processes
Ensuring that standards are implemented and followed in every aspect of the model launch from the project's inception and design all the way through implementation and assembly
Managing General Assy projects
Supervising union represented Engineers within UAW contract requirements
Satisfying Manufacturing Quality Assurance System requirements
Interfacing with manufacturing, maintenance, various engineering groups, finance and purchasing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Assembly or equivalent
Self-motivated and works well in a team environment
Ability to interface with both management and labor forces
Ability to work overtime and travel as required
Ability to lead cross functional teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication skills - both orally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and excellent to advanced in EXCEL
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Experience in torque/fastening systems
New model vehicle launch experience
Experience working with Bargaining Unit employees
Knowledge of Stellantis Production Way (SPW)
