Senior Service Designer

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board responsible for workforce development, education, and training across the health and social care system in Scotland. They are seeking two Senior Service Designers to work on MyCare.scot, a public-facing digital service that provides access to health and care information, focusing on developing user-centered design processes to improve service delivery.

Proven service design experience, ideally within a health and/or social care context
Expertise in service design methods and tools including participative processes
Experience working in a cross-functional team and making digital products & services
Strengths in user focus, evidence and context-based design, prototyping, strategic thinking, communicating information and the digital perspective
Skills in one or more of agile working, community collaboration, facilitating decisions, visualisation and service patterns
Communicating design outputs to a range of audiences in a clear, meaningful and actionable manner
Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, utilising tact and persuasion skills when necessary
Ability to work on own initiative, to organise and prioritise own workloads, to meet strict deadlines

Required
