Behavior Analyst - Board Certified

The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Analyst to design, implement, and monitor behavioral intervention programs for children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on ABA principles for children and young adults with developmental disabilities
Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
Deliver clinic-based services, with potential opportunities for community-based service delivery when appropriate
Provide intensive behavioral interventions focused on skill building, including but not limited to early intervention programs
Manage behavior reduction programs for clients exhibiting severe behaviors, using positive reinforcement and other ABA techniques
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care
Train and supervise staff in the application of ABA methods and techniques, ensuring best practices and quality care
Maintain detailed records and documentation, including data collection, progress reports, and treatment modifications

Required

Master's degree in behavior analysis or a closely related field
At least 2 years of experience in child development
Licensure as required for position

Preferred

Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Missouri licensure or eligibility for state licensure
Two years professional experience post-master's in designing, implementing, and overseeing behavior analysis services for individuals
