They are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support its diverse portfolio spanning multiple asset classes and investment strategies, focusing on financial statements and property-level financial insights.

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties
Complete accruals, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month‑end close activities
Perform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and operating expense true‑ups
Review rent rolls, tenant billings, adjustments, and aged receivables; ensure accuracy of cash receipts
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and oversee AP/AR activity for completeness and accuracy
Maintain supporting schedules and ensure all sub-ledgers align with the general ledger
Partner with Property Management teams to provide variance explanations, budget support, and tenant‑related financial insights
Assist with annual budgets, audit requests, and compliance with internal controls
Utilize MRI or Yardi property management software to execute accounting functions efficiently
Support ad hoc projects, portfolio analysis, and process improvements as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
4+ years of property accounting experience within commercial or mixed‑use real estate
Strong understanding of property‑level financial statements, monthly close processes, and GAAP
High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline management
Preferred
CAM reconciliation experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with MRI or Yardi accounting systems is highly preferred
