Manufacturing Engineer
Brady Corporation is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer for their Engraving Solutions business, which includes the MECCO and Gravotech brands. This role involves developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement, while also providing leadership and technical guidance to team members.

Responsibilities
Responsible for smooth product production, product qualification processes, and product & process FMEA analysis
Designs, deploys and validates manufacturing processes and strategies in conjunction with new product development engineers
Create, document and implement procedures for assembling, testing and packaging processes
Ensures conformance with and application of policies and procedures
Create PPAP and FAI documents for customers
Develops training systems and support documentation for associates
Provide leadership in assigned areas including when working with key associates to promote participation and cooperation in process development/improvement initiatives
Re-engineers operations and manufacturing processes
Designs, installs and debugs tooling and new capital equipment
Designs, evaluates and implements automated systems for inspection, manufacturing and data acquisition
Responsible for continuous improvement activities
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
Strong lean manufacturing skill set and knowledge with experience implementing lean methodologies/tools (pull systems, TPM, one piece flow, Kanban, POU, standardized work, batch reduction, visual controls, Ishikawa diagrams/fishbone, 5-Why Analysis and 5S)
Have an understanding of COC/COA creation
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, precision measuring devices
Knowledge of quality management systems, specifically ISO-9001, AS9100
Knowledge of statistical tools; GR&Rs, SPC, DOE's, Ppk's, Cpk's, Hypothesis Testing
Basic understanding of GD&T
Six Sigma Green Belt Training Certification and/or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and/or ASQ Mechanical Inspector certification
Ability to travel up to 5%
Preferred
Printing and/or converting industry experience preferred
Familiarity with CAD software, AutoCAD preferred
