Responsibilities

Inspiring and guiding students through consistent, one-on-one engagement—no traditional lectures, only high-impact peer-style mentorship
Leveraging adaptive learning technology and AI tools to enable individualized pacing for every student
Facilitating focused small-group sessions on leadership development, life skills, and practical success frameworks
Supporting students in identifying their talents and broadening their goals via tailored growth roadmaps
Participating in the continuous evolution of Alpha's educational approach by providing data, observations, and innovative suggestions

Qualification

K–8 studentsMentoring experienceBachelor's degreePublic speakingVerbal communication

Required

Ability to work on-site at one of the following locations: Palo Alto, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Miami, FL; Chicago, IL; Santa Barbara, CA
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
Proven track record of exceptional achievement (e.g. distinguished academic awards, D1/Olympic-level athletics, national-level competitions, etc.)
3 years of hands-on experience working with K–8 students in mentoring, coaching, or teaching roles
Excellent verbal communication and public speaking abilities
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
