Responsibilities

Build strong trust-based relationships as you pitch 10-15 mortgage lenders and real estate agents per week
Drive engagement and drive leads into active partners
Work with partners to scale referral volume and increase share of wallet over time
Manage and optimize ongoing partner relationships—establishing trust, educating partners on Guardian’s value prop, and coaching them on referral workflows
Structure and execute partner incentive programs within defined budget thresholds, including quarterly events and top-performer annual events
Track performance metrics including referral volume, close rates, partner retention, and CAC/payback to ensure channel-level profitability
Collaborate with Marketing to refine partner messaging, improve warm intro success rates, and support local presence-building strategies
Work cross-functionally with GTM leaders and sales agents
Evaluate the performance of lender vs. realtor channels and recommend where to allocate time and incentive budgets based on ROI
Help refine and scale the BD playbook as Guardian Service grows, improving workflows, tooling, and reporting
Represent Guardian Service in local markets—building credibility across lender, realtor, and insurance ecosystems

Required

Bachelor's degree with strong academic and professional performance
7+ years of experience in business development, channel sales, B2B partnerships, or related roles
Proven track record driving high-volume outbound and closing strategic relationships
Strong communicator who can build trust quickly with mortgage lenders, realtors, and related professionals
Relationship-oriented with the ability to manage a long-term portfolio of partners and influence referral behaviors
Comfortable with metrics, funnel management, and understanding basic unit economics
Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where structure is emerging and speed matters
Clear written and verbal communicator capable of influencing stakeholders and simplifying complex concepts
Self-starter with drive, resilience, and a high bar for excellence

Preferred

Experience in mortgage lending, real estate, insurance, or B2B sales is a plus—but not required
