Responsibilities
Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-2 students, coaching them while reinforcing reading skills delivered by Reading Specialists
Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving using consistent structure paired with warmth
Monitoring student development and challenges, identifying concerns early, and refining approaches in partnership with your team
Establishing a classroom environment that balances structure, playfulness, and personalization
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work full-time and in-person at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
3+ years of experience engaging with children ages 4–8 in educational, afterschool, coaching, or comparable settings
Captivating storyteller and dynamic speaker: capable of engaging and maintaining the focus of groups of young children
Capable of maintaining high expectations for yourself and students, and motivating children to achieve their goals
Growth mindset and receptive to coaching
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
