Responsibilities

Support Electric Operations tools and application initiatives, including GIS (Elevate) design and modernization workshops
Gather, organize, and synthesize complex operational and technical information into clear narratives, visuals, and recommendations
Prepare executive-ready materials for leadership read-outs and decision forums
Serve as a liaison between Electric Operations, IT, and program teams, ensuring alignment across stakeholders
Support EPT and tagging process improvement initiatives by documenting end-to-end workflows and identifying improvement opportunities
Align and standardize processes across normal operations and outage/restoration conditions
Improve visibility, consistency, and communication of completed field work and tagging activities
Act as a single point of contact for assigned projects, exercising judgment and discretion under general direction
Oversee and administer EPC contracts in accordance with governance and oversight requirements
Negotiate third-party contracts as needed in support of cross-functional partners
Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks across multi-year initiatives
Champion company-wide best practices and continuous improvement efforts
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and officers as required
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers
Resolve project conflicts and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups

Required

Advanced project management expertise supporting complex, high-visibility initiatives
Strong experience with process improvement, workflow documentation, and operational optimization
Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate technical and operational complexity into executive-level insights
Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of experience in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction (9+ years if external hire)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required for new entrants and must be maintained

Preferred

Knowledge of Electric Operations, utilities, or energy industry environments
Familiarity with EPC contracting, permitting, and regulatory processes (e.g., CPUC, environmental permitting)
Experience facilitating workshops and cross-functional working sessions
