Responsibilities
Drive the creation and management of U.S. private markets investment products across private credit, real estate, private equity, and infrastructure
Partner closely with Investment Management, Sales, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Tax, and Operations teams to design products that align with client needs, regulatory expectations, and the firm’s responsible-investment ethos
Oversee the full product lifecycle—from concept and market assessment through launch and ongoing evolution
Manage complex initiatives, navigating governance processes, and ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Leverage market intelligence, regulatory insight, and client feedback to shape product strategy, respond to industry and regulatory change, and help position Federated Hermes’ private markets offerings competitively in the U.S. landscape
Serve as a point of contact for all private‑markets product matters and require strong project management, cross‑functional leadership, and the ability to balance strategic vision with execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor degree required
6+ years of private market product development experience in the asset management environment with a proven track record of delivery required
Previous experience managing scoping and launch of private markets pooled investment products required
Experience in either private equity or real estate asset classes required
Familiarity with key US private market fund regulations required, including 40 Act
Solid investment knowledge across a broad range of investment strategies and the regulatory landscape for private markets in US required
Strong project management skills required

Experience in the wealth management market preferred
Semi-liquid and/or wealth focused evergreen fund structures preferred
Experience in all of Federated Hermes' key asset classes preferred including private credit, real estate, private equity and infrastructure preferred
