They are seeking a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to enhance Big O Tires’ AI and search presence, managing local SEO performance and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive digital experience.

Responsibilities

Lead ongoing website SEO initiatives, including metadata optimization, schema markup, internal linking, and content updates
Improve site performance through page‑speed enhancements, Core Web Vitals optimization, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability improvements
Apply foundational HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge to implement SEO fixes and QA technical updates
Partner with developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new features, templates, and site enhancements
Conduct keyword research to inform national and local content strategies
Identify and prioritize opportunities for on‑site and technical SEO improvements
Support optimization for emerging AI‑driven search experiences across platforms such as Google SGE and Bing Copilot
Identify and implement structured data enhancements to improve visibility across AI‑powered search surfaces
Monitor evolving AI search trends and guide the organization in adapting strategies and best practices
Collaborate with analytics, paid media, content, brand, operations, IT, creative, and customer experience teams to ensure cohesive digital strategy and execution
Manage vendor relationships and maximize the value of enterprise SEO tools
Analyze competitive landscapes to uncover opportunities for national and local digital growth
Manage and optimize local business listings across Google Business Profiles, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, Yelp, and other directories
Maintain NAP consistency and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date information for all franchise locations
Optimize local ranking factors including categories, attributes, services, photos, and reviews
Troubleshoot listing issues such as suspensions, duplicates, ownership conflicts, and verification challenges
Provide high‑touch support to franchisees on digital listings, reputation management, and local SEO best practices
Deliver training, documentation, and process guidance to franchisees and internal teams to strengthen local digital presence
Track and analyze KPIs across website SEO, local SEO, and franchisee engagement
Build dashboards and recurring reports to communicate performance trends, insights, and opportunities

Required

2–4 years of experience in local SEO, multi location SEO, or digital marketing
Hands on experience with Google Business Profiles, local listing platforms, and SEO tools (e.g., BrightEdge, SOCI, YEXT, GA4, GSC)
Basic technical skills including comfort with HTML, CSS, and understanding of JavaScript's impact on SEO
Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver clear, friendly, and effective support to franchise owners
Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting data and making data-driven recommendations
Technical SEO skills

Preferred

Experience with structured data, schema, or AI driven search optimization is a plus
Familiarity with franchise or multi unit retail environments is highly preferred
Franchise marketing experience a plus
Bilingual in Spanish / English are a plus
