Responsibilities
Monitor calls in Pindrop for potential fraud
Help review alerts the FOCE receives in the Counter Fraud Rules Engine
Learn the investigation process, and work to support the SIU in the investigation of suspicious activity
Contribute to the anti-fraud training program during the time as an intern
Learn about the annual Fraud Risk Assessment process and contribute as needed
Work with members of the FOCE on business process analysis reviews
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate students completing their sophomore or junior year preferred pursuing Criminal Justice, Forensic Accounting, Risk or other similar majors
Availability to work full-time hours over the term of the internship period
Desire to learn about fraud risk management as a possible career
Strong research and writing skills with a desire to determine the root cause and document all information
Detail oriented with strong focus on quality of deliverables
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and solve problems
Ability to own the assigned task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong written and communication skills-able to clearly articulate complex information to others
Familiar with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
