Responsibilities
Support and lead troubleshooting efforts involving complex electrical components, assemblies, and full system production issues
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to quality, customer satisfaction, cost reduction, safety, on-time delivery, and regulatory compliance
Drive standardization of manufacturing processes and develop meaningful performance metrics
Develop capital plans for electrical manufacturing equipment, including specifications, sourcing, installation, and operational qualification
Create, update, and refine production work instructions for electrical assembly and testing processes
Participate in design-for-manufacturability reviews for new products in collaboration with development engineering teams
Develop safe work practices and support the mitigation of hazardous electrical and industrial conditions
Analyze production workflows to improve labor efficiency, material utilization, and overall operational performance
Develop and deliver training materials for production and assembly personnel
Provide technical support to the quality department in resolving electrical product quality issues and implementing effective corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
5–8 years of experience in an electrical or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
English fluency
Effective communication skills for interactions with production and assembly teams
Familiarity with SMT and through-hole manufacturing technologies
Experience with IPC-610 and ISO 9000 standards
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Preferred
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
