Trilyon, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Configuration / Release Engineer to support a high-visibility project with the State in Atlanta. This role is responsible for automating, maintaining, and governing cloud configuration and release processes across enterprise AWS environments.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain AWS configuration management standards and processes
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ACM)
Ensure consistency and security across Dev, Test, Stage, and Production environments
Support CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline
Partner with DevOps teams on deployments, rollbacks, and configuration updates
Ensure environments are stable and release-ready

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
8+ years of configuration or release engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ACM)
3+ years of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
Experience with AWS Code Suite (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline)
Expertise in AWS backup solutions, patching, and SSL/TLS certificate management
Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred

Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
AWS and/or Terraform certifications
Experience working in state or local government environments
Agile or project management tool experience
Vendor or stakeholder management experience
