Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective methods and recognizing documented progress
Create and lead play-based learning sessions that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, exemplifying exemplary practice for your team
Assess and standardize Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain visibility of milestone achievement
Develop family communications and coordinate team meetings that synchronize priorities and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK readiness outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related area
Direct experience facilitating learning for young children between the ages of 3 and 5
Demonstrated success designing and executing play-based educational programs or curricula that support developmental milestone attainment, such as Montessori approaches
A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising a team of educators with clear performance expectations
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for producing family updates and ensuring team coordination
Legal authorization to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship
Commitment to on-site work at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support available as needed
Preferred
Master's degree or specialized credentials
