Responsibilities

Plan and execute virtual small-group and individual reading intervention sessions for learners in grades 3–8
Leverage reading assessment data to identify fluency and comprehension deficits and modify instruction rapidly
Adapt activities to accommodate multiple reading levels, including accommodations for dyslexia and associated reading challenges
Monitor progress through clear, systematic methods and apply that data to inform upcoming sessions
Facilitate structured motivation touchpoints that cultivate confidence, resilience, and pride in development

Required

Bachelor's degree in education, literacy, or a closely related field
Reading intervention certification or endorsement (e.g., Arizona Reading Specialist K-12 or equivalent state certification)

At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group or one-on-one reading interventions for students in grades 3–8
Experience supporting students with dyslexia or related reading difficulties
Ability to interpret progress monitoring data and use it to plan and adjust instruction
Strong ability to engage and manage students in a virtual setting through clear, motivating communication
Full-time availability during U.S. business hours (Monday–Friday; 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PT)
