They are seeking a 2nd-shift Production Engineer for an automotive parts manufacturer, responsible for establishing standards for equipment operation and coordinating design modifications.

Responsibilities
Establish standards for installation, modification, testing, operation, and inspection of equipment
Coordinate new design and modification requirements for the facility
Assist in root cause analysis & implementing solution
Prepare bid sheets, print layouts, and contracts
Test new machines and equipment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Must have experience using AutoCAD or SolidWorks
At least 1 year of hands-on machining experience
Experience with Cost reduction and process improvement
Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
Preferred
Preferably within an industrial environment
