Responsibilities
Serve as the technical sales expert for control valves, actuators, and valve automation systems
Drive new business development and expand customer accounts through consultative selling
Collaborate with customers to specify engineered valve solutions for severe service applications
Conduct site visits and application reviews to gather process data and build long-term customer trust
Prepare accurate quotations and collaborate with Inside Sales, Engineering, and Vendor teams
Represent Rust Automation & Controls and manufacturing partners at industry events, training sessions, and customer audits
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in technical sales or applications engineering within the valve or process automation industry
Working knowledge of control valve applications, sizing, and specifications
Ability to read P&IDs, technical drawings, and understand industrial process environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Familiarity with CRM tools, quoting platforms, and vendor configurators
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
