Responsibilities
Manage monthly oil & gas accounting cycles using WolfePak, including revenue processing, JIBs, AP/AR, and general ledger entries
Prepare, review, and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Reconcile complex accounts, including revenue, expenses, accruals, and intercompany activity
Maintain and update accounting trackers, schedules, and reporting tools
Assist with monthly financial statements and variance analysis
Process and validate production, revenue, and vendor data within WolfePak
Set up Division of Interest (DOI), Authority for Expenditure (AFE) etc
Support regulatory filings, including state production and tax reports
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, land, and finance teams
Other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
3+ years of oil & gas accounting experience, specifically upstream or E&P
Hands-on WolfePak expertise —you've used it extensively for revenue, JIBs, AP/AR, and GL
Strong understanding of oil & gas revenue, JIB allocations, severance taxes, and production reporting
High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleanup, reconciliations)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Background supporting audits or implementing internal controls
