Responsibilities
Monitor regulatory agencies for proposed regulatory actions and revisions to items of interest to the company
Coordinate subject matter expert review of regulations and discussions with legal resources as needed
Coordinate public responses to regulatory agencies
Support identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives as a result of regulations
Act as liaisons between their organization and state, local, federal, and international agencies to submit required forms and paperwork
Assist with monitoring compliance to laws and standards
Assist with explaining regulations, procedures, and policies to all employees and stakeholders as necessary
Maintain data and files for future reference, particularly in the event of an audit by a regulatory agency
Regularly report on compliance status and measures to both internal and external parties
Qualification
Required
Holds an Associate's degree or equivalent experience – Preferred major Science/Technical field or Legal/Paralegal
Has 2 – 5 years of office experience, preferably with a manufacturing organization
Must be able to read and summarize technical English documents
Strong analytical skills
Ability to analyze large amounts of data and summarize into clear conclusions and recommendations
Strong attention to detail required
Effective verbal and written communication
Excellent judgment and organization skills
Ability to perform intermediate Excel functions such as pivot tables, filters, sorting, and subtotals
The ability to read and comprehend regulatory document
