ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Maximum Quality Foods, Inc. is an independent, family-owned foodservice distributor based in Linden, NJ. The Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for incremental growth, focusing on building strong customer relationships and increasing sales volume across product categories.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow assigned existing customer accounts within a designated territory
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding products, pricing, service, and promotions
Develop account-specific strategies to increase sales volume, product mix, and profitability
Maintain strong relationships with customer decision-makers through regular phone and in-person visits
Identify opportunities to introduce new products, seasonal items, and additional product categories
Provide customers with pricing information, product details, and market updates
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and follow up on requests, issues, and feedback
Travel to customer locations as needed to conduct account reviews and business development meetings
Maintain accurate, organized account records and sales forecasts
Complete and submit weekly sales reports detailing account activity, opportunities, wins, and losses
Collect and communicate competitive market information to management
Partner with operations, customer service, and management to ensure consistent service and issue resolution
Represent the Company in a professional manner and maintain a positive company image at all times
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required

Preferred

Prior sales or account management experience in food distribution
