Commercial Insurance Outside Sales Advisor
AAA Western and Central New York is committed to providing a satisfying experience for its members and is seeking a Commercial Insurance Outside Sales Advisor. This role involves generating new business, managing a sales pipeline, and maintaining client relationships to ensure coverage meets evolving needs.

Responsibilities
Generate new business by actively identifying, targeting, and converting small and middle-market commercial prospects across multiple industries
Meet or exceed annual new business premium and revenue targets and continuously promote all Club products/services
Engage business owners and decision-makers to assess risk, understand exposures, and recommend tailored insurance solutions
Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, COIs, community involvement, digital outreach, and cold prospecting
Find opportunities within our current memberships to cross sell and add value with Commercial lines opportunities
Accurately document all activities in CRM and AMS for forecasting and compliance
Meet and exceed activity expectations to develop a deep pipeline that will lead to new business opportunities
Develop and execute a personal sales plan aligned with agency growth objectives
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate quotes, timely policy delivery, and adherence to underwriting guidelines
Deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring coverage meets evolving needs
Stay informed on industry trends and carrier products to provide expert guidance
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to maximize account value
Ensure annual retention targets are met and/or exceeded
Qualification
Required
Responsible to obtain and maintain the required license or certification in an active status
Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships with business owners and decision-makers
Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with clear sales targets
Reliable transportation & ability to travel locally to meet with clients, attend networking events, and engage in business development activities
Ability to work evenings, weekends, & events as required by business need/Leadership directive
Proficiency in using CRM systems and other digital software for managing leads and tracking progress
Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage business owners and decision-makers effectively
Ability to navigate and learn multiple carrier platforms (typically 12–20 applications) to quote, bind, and manage policies efficiently
Ability to display working knowledge of carrier offerings, processes and requirements
Ability to operate independently and display proficiency in minimization of errors and problem solving
Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 30 lbs
