Responsibilities
Manage registration and check-in, verify insurance, and collect co-pays with a welcoming and professional demeanor
Facilitate the check-out process, provide post-visit instructions, and schedule follow-up appointments or clinical orders
Perform telephone triage, route inquiries, and assist in delivering provider instructions to patients
Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow and office efficiency
Maintain practice compliance with regulatory agencies (OSHA, ODH, TJC, etc.) while supporting patient rights and responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
Strong communication skills, a cooperative work attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Training in business office activities, computer skills, or medical terminology preferred
Previous medical receptionist experience is preferred
