Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain BigID integrations with databases, cloud storage, data warehouses, and APIs
Configure discovery policies, classifiers, and connectors for GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA compliance
Implement and optimize data discovery and classification workflows
Develop custom metadata enrichment and governance rules
Troubleshoot BigID performance, ingestion, and classification issues
Collaborate with governance, privacy, security, and compliance teams
Create technical documentation and mentor junior engineers
Coordinate with BigID vendor support and stay current with product updates
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of experience
Domain: Banking (required)
Strong hands-on experience with BigID (certification preferred)
Experience with AWS and GCP
Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance
API and data source integration experience
Understanding of IAM, networking, and cloud storage fundamentals
Ability to work independently in an agile environment
Preferred
Python and/or Shell scripting
Experience in data privacy, risk, or security initiatives
