Skylytics Data, LLC is a fast-growing technology company specializing in AI, IoT, and Data solutions. They are seeking a Sales & Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying and closing high-value opportunities across various industries, while also shaping the go-to-market strategy and building a high-performing sales function.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across target industries to uncover opportunities and position
Skylytics as a trusted advisor
Develop and manage a high-quality sales pipeline in strategic sectors: Smart Building, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Energy Management, and AI-driven transformation
Articulate and position Skylytics’ integrated AI, IoT, and Data solutions—including location intelligence, sensor-triggered automation, and data pipeline orchestration—by aligning them with customer business challenges and goals
Leverage CRM and sales tools to automate forecasting, track pipeline progression, and ensure accurate, real-time reporting
Lead the full sales cycle: from initial discovery and product demonstrations to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
Communicate the value of Skylytics’ offerings by clearly linking technical capabilities to measurable operational and financial outcomes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts using company-wide sales tools and processes
Drive post-sale engagement to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for expansion
Lead pipeline and opportunity review meetings with founders and leadership, providing strategic insights and recommendations
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales messaging, case studies, campaign materials, and technical talking points for AI, IoT, and Data solutions
Influence product roadmap development by translating customer feedback into actionable requirements—particularly around AI features, analytics dashboards, and automation modules
Own and evolve sales playbooks tailored to Data, AI, and IoT software and services
Contribute to the design and implementation of performance metrics, quotas, compensation plans, and territory models
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of future sales team members as the organization grows
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of proven experience in sales or business development within SaaS, IoT, AI, data analytics, or enterprise technology
Demonstrated success in end-to-end sales execution: prospecting, pipeline development, closing deals, and managing post-sale relationships
Experience positioning technical solutions in a way that clearly demonstrates business impact and ROI
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities
Entrepreneurial mindset: self-driven, adaptable, and excited to build processes and systems from the ground up
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal oversight
Leadership potential and interest in advancing into a Sales Team Leadership role
Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales forecasting tools
