Sales Enablement and Marketing Specialist III
Continental Battery Systems is a rapidly growing North American PE-backed company looking to add a highly-skilled employee to their team. The Sales Enablement and Marketing Specialist III will develop and implement marketing and sales enablement strategies to support the sales team in achieving targets, while collaborating across various departments to ensure effective execution of sales initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously refine the sales enablement strategy supporting Sales & National Accounts
Identify skill gaps, process bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve sales performance and customer outcomes
Translate business priorities into focused marketing programs
Partner across all departments—including Marketing, Sales/National Accounts, Operations, Product, Pricing, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain—to ensure alignment and successful rollout of sales and marketing initiatives
Serve as the positive and responsive connector between teams to drive communication, streamline execution, and maintain accountability
Maintain consistent feedback loops between sales teams and internal business units
Collaborate with Marketing to create pitch decks, product guides, sales playbooks, competitive battle cards, and customer-ready collateral
Ensure sales teams are fully trained and engaged with the marketing ticket system, analytics dashboards, and other sales enablement tools
Maintain a centralized sales resource library with current, accurate, and easy-to-use materials
Build and deliver sales onboarding, ongoing training, and role-based learning pathways
Facilitate workshops on products, customer segments, sales process, national account management, negotiation, and competitive positioning
Lead planning, logistics, coordination, and on-site support for national tradeshows, industry events, and customer meetings
Partner with Marketing and Sales Leadership and Teams to ensure brand alignment, lead capture strategy, pre- and post-show communication, and measurable event ROI
Oversee booth design, vendor coordination, and cross-departmental support
Develop and document standardized sales processes, national account playbooks, and account planning frameworks
Coach teams on best practices for discovery, closing, objection handling, and consultative engagements
Monitor sales adoption of key processes and tools
Track and report on enablement impact through readiness metrics, sales productivity, content adoption, and quota achievement
Present insights and recommendations to Sales Leadership to inform priorities and decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or above in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, national accounts, or training (B2B preferred)
Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Advanced knowledge of department administrative procedures, methods, and techniques
Advanced knowledge of business policies and practices, document flows, general office procedures, rules, methods, and techniques
Advanced knowledge of ERP (Enterprise resource planning) applications (Netsuite preferred)
Advanced knowledge of LMS platforms
Advanced knowledge of project management tools
Advanced skill in communication with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
Advanced skill in presenting, training, and facilitation skills
Advanced skill in providing regular team member recognition
Advanced skill in computer use and related common applications (MS Office Business Suite including, but not limited to email, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications; and internet research means)
Advanced skill in communicating and building positive rapport with customers through delivering quality customer service (producing satisfaction; delivering happiness)
Advanced skill level in English composition and conversation (read, write, and speak English with good pronunciation, proper word use, structure, and grammar); Additional language preferred but not required
Advanced skill level in organization/orderliness and establishing priorities
Advanced skill in defusing an agitated or confrontational person; handle grievances with professional etiquette
Advanced ability to follow defined process steps with high repeatability, taking them for conceptualization and first starting point to full execution
Advanced ability to identify, support, develop, and execute appropriate intermediate and long-range improvement goals that support department and company objectives
Advanced ability to effectively train new hires on the held job processes, techniques, and procedures
Ability to travel nationally as needed (Roughly 30-50% travel requirements, based upon customer/account meetings and needs.)
Positive, team-oriented, “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude with a willingness to own outcomes
Data-savvy with the ability to analyze performance, identify trends, and propose solutions
Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving business needs as the marketplace and customer journey continue to grow and change
Highly organized, self-driven, and able to independently manage projects from planning to execution
Preferred
Tradeshow or industry event management experience is strongly preferred
Background in automotive, energy, industrial distribution, or manufacturing is a plus
