As a Marketing & Events Intern, you'll gain practical experience in coordinating and supporting community events, focusing on event logistics, vendor communication, and on-site execution.

Responsibilities

Assist with the planning and promotion of local City events
Collaborate with team members and volunteers to ensure successful event execution
Help manage the Food Share program at the Farmers Market
Support the creation of engaging content for the City’s website and social media channels
Help track event analytics and compile data
Proofread and edit marketing materials
Dive into various marketing and communication tasks as needed

Required

You're a full-time college student studying marketing, public relations, communications, event planning, or a related field
You're comfortable with tech tools like Microsoft Office and Canva
You're detail-oriented, organized, and can juggle multiple tasks with a smile!
A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and with a team are key

Preferred

Bonus points for experience with digital cameras and photo editing!
Previous experience with customer service or cash handling is a plus
