Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practical, and consistent with organizational objectives
Collaborate with teams to determine, recommend, and develop solutions
Implement solutions within cost and schedule by applying proven and innovative practices that overcome the shortcomings of the current paradigm
Frequently communicate with inter-organizational and outside customer contacts at executive level of management
Coordinates with the customer and other team members and ensures problem resolution, appropriate risk reduction, and user satisfaction
Draft and publish training materials, train users, and provide sustained maintenance of applications
Draft a variety of related technical documents including Business Cases, Project Charters, Requirements Specifications, Design Documents, Test Plans, Training, RASCIs, Risk and Opportunity Analysis, and Stakeholder Analysis
Develop ROI and manage project scope, budget, and time constraints while collaborating with Agile teams to refine Features and User Stories, support iterative design reviews, and ensure solutions align with both technical requirements and user‑centered design principles

Required

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experience in Project management working in an Agile environment using Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe practices and translate business needs into well‑defined Epics, Features, and User Stories
Experience participating in or leading Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Backlog Refinement, and System Demos and managing and prioritizing a product backlog in alignment with business value and stakeholder needs
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and drive timely resolution across cross‑functional teams and collecting and documenting system requirements and business processes
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

Preferred

Experience in Supply Chain, Property and Logistics
Experience working with ERP [enterprise resource planning] and standalone business systems such as SAP PRISM, JIRA, and FIORI
Experience with Earned Value Management
Experience with SQL, Snowflake, and/or Ad-hoc Reporting
Certification such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-PBA, CPIM, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
Experience writing test cases and system testing
Experience with automated testing frameworks or tools (e.g., TOSCA, or similar)
Experience designing and reviewing wireframes or prototypes in tools similar to Figma
Core Specialist, Six Sigma (R6ó) Green Belt, or higher Certification
